Song titles are a great warm up activity for your Spanish class! Each set has 10 song titles/lyrics translated into Spanish that use the target verb tense, grammar skill, or vocabulary set. These short phrases become a comprehensible input reading activity that students can do alone or, better yet, in small groups.
Some songs are recent and popular, and some are oldies. Some are country, some are pop, some are rock… so if students recognize one or two, that’s great! But they should not be surprised if they are unfamiliar. And if they don’t know the songs, that’s even better for you – because that means students will actually have to work with each other - and maybe a dictionary - to piece together the meaning rather than simply recognizing the name of a famous song or artist.
This activity reviews Spanish direct object pronouns.
This activity and its editable version are available as part of my Direct Object Pronoun Bundle
