This zip file includes everything you need to teach a lesson on direct object pronouns with the present progressive tense.
This lesson includes:
-a notes page for students to follow along with the powerpoint
-a classwork with 5 writing activities
-an exit ticket
-a lesson plan guiding the teacher through everything
-answer keys for everything
The powerpoint reviews what direct object pronouns are in English and then in Spanish, and then shows how they work with the present progressive tense. It explains that the direct object pronoun can go before the conjugated verb or attach to the end of the gerund. Then there are sentences for students to practice rewriting sentences substituting the direct objects with their pronouns. The notes page has blanks in it for students to follow along with the powerpoint.
All the documents (except the powerpoint) are Word docs, so they are editable for any curriculum. The powerpoint is saved as both .ppt and .pptx.
-write the direct object pronoun for given nouns
-rewrite phrases, changing the direct object to its pronoun and attaching it to the gerund
-rewrite sentences two ways - changing the direct object to its pronoun and attaching it to the gerund, and moving it before the conjugated verb
-answer questions two ways - changing the direct object to its pronoun and attaching it to the gerund, and moving it before the conjugated verb
-translate sentences to Spanish with direct object pronouns two ways - attached to the gerund and before the conjugated verb
