Spanish Presidents Day/el Día del Presidente packet for elementary students. Perfect for dual language/immersion programs: no English on student pages!

This packet introduces your students to George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, entirely in Spanish!

Included, you will find:

Timeline cards, with years 1700-1870, by 5s, featuring a sparkly, patriotic border
Use these cards to create a timeline along a wall. Students use drawing/writing pages (below) to represent moments from Washington and/or Lincoln’s life, then display at appropriate points along timeline.

Bulletin board display pieces
Each president's display includes:
1/2 page clip art graphic
1/2 page famous quote
1/4 page name plate with birth/death years
1/6 page photograph/portrait
All with patriotic borders that coordinate with timeline cards.

Target auditory comprehension or reading comprehension with a 1-page biography for each president.

Vocabulary writing sheet
6 key words from each president's biography
Use these sheets to practice dictionary skills. Alternatively, students may generate their own definitions.

Fill-in the blank biographies, with answer keys
13 blanks in each president's biography
To target auditory comprehension, print and distribute for students to complete while listening to teacher read biography aloud. To target memory & reading comp, students complete after listening to/reading biography.

6 T/F statements for each president
Students select true/false, then correct false statements.
