Most of us have used 'roll a conjugation' practice with dice but this is a fun twist! Large, foam dice can be found at the Dollar Tree (yes, $1 each!) or other stores such as LakeShore Learning and Amazon. They are PERFECT for 'roll a conjugation' practice with pictures of the subject pronouns! This adds a fun, visual twist to the game. Students have to identify the pictures of the pronouns as well as conjugate the verbs.
You will need pictures of the subject pronouns to fit within the space on each side of the die (die and pronouns are NOT included) in circles measuring 2X2 for the Dollar Store die. Simply cut out your pronoun pictures and attach one to each side of the die and you're read to roll... literally and figuratively!
Students roll the die, identify the subject pronoun, and then conjugate the verb for that pronoun on the provided worksheet practice. The verb tense has been left out of the directions so that you can use this practice for any tense you desire, you just need to verbally tell the students. MAKE IT FIT THE LEVEL THAT YOU NEED.
Note: This is a PDF file.
Don't have pronouns to use with a large die? You can get the paid resource that includes the pronoun pictures perfectly sized to fit the Dollar Store foam die HERE.
Plus the worksheet is editable in the paid resource, so you can change the verbs in the practice to the ones that your class is learning.
