This skit is designed to be a cumulative (3-day) group project in a Clothing Unit. In groups of 3-4, students have to write a skit in which 2 people are "fashion police officers" and 1-2 students are "fashion victims". The fashion victims dress outrageously and the fashion police have to explain what is wrong with their style.
Students should already know and be able to use:
-llevar and clothing vocabulary
-quedar and how to describe how clothing fits (pequeño, grande, etc)
-parecer and how to describe how the clothing looks (feo, pasado de moda...)
The zip file includes:
-Rubric for students that explains the project, how it will be graded, the steps for a successful skit, and gives vocabulary suggestions,
-Listening Classwork for students while the skits are being presented
-Grading rubric for the teacher
-Teacher's guide with helpful suggestions and ideas
An alternative Comic Strip project for students that don't want to get up in front of the class and potentially embarrass themselves is also included.
All the documents are Word docs, so they are editable for any curriculum.
This project is ideal for a Spanish 1 class in middle or high school.
This skit project is included in my Spanish Clothing Unit
and in my Spanish Clothing & Colors Unit
