This is an interpersonal activity in Spanish that utilizes common question and answer vocabulary for introductions, including the following:
* eye color
* hair color
* favorite color
Each page is meant to be cut in half, making 8 different pages in all. Students must find a person in the classroom who fits the description they’ve been given. Students should ask each other questions in Spanish and listen for the answers, writing down their partner’s name if they have a match. They can use five different people for each one, or use the same person for more than one item if possible.
Ideally, students speak Spanish the whole time, though you may need to write the questions on the board as a prompt and model the activity. Once the interpersonal portion is completed, you can use the responses for a mini-presentation or to ask "¿Quién?" questions to the class as a follow-up to learn more about fellow classmates.
This is presented as a Word doc so you can tweak vocabulary (particularly locations) as needed. This can be done as a challenging activity for beginners or as a review early in the year for Spanish students of all levels.
