In this activity, students are given a passage to read in Spanish. The passage is easy to read so that it can be adapted to various Spanish levels. While reading the passage students are to find and correct the 75 grammar mistakes within the passage (higher level thinking skills). I like to make this activity fun by turning it into a competition. I tell my students that the first 5 students to accurately find all 75 errors win a prize (candy, extra credit, homework pass, etc.). However, this activity does not have to be competitive and works great as an in-class assignment or homework assignment. An Answer Key is included to make your life easier! This activity is designed for students who have already learned the following:
-regular presnt-tense verb conjugation
-differences between ser & estar
-conjugations of "ir"
-noun and adjective agreement
-conjugation of "tener"
-conjugation of "ser"
-how to use "gustar"
