Students will keep track of their food for an entire week (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and drinks.
They will identify what part of the food pyramid/plate each item on their diary is (protein, carb, fruit, etc.)
At the end of the week, they will analyze their diary by looking at each food category separately. An emoji chart helps students visually determine how well they did.
Presentational Writing - Then, they will write an analysis of what they found. (what they did good with, what they need to improve, suggestions, etc.)
