Listening, writing, and kinesthetic all in one!
This activity is made to be used with any set of food vocabulary and for any level. Students listen to the teacher say food vocabulary words, and they categorize each word they hear based on whether it is something they personally eat/drink or don't eat/drink. The activity involves filling in a handout as well as moving around the room to corresponding areas.
You can use any food/beverage vocabulary words you like, and can have the activity go on as long as you like! It's a great activity to get students moving, and the handout can also be used as a formative assessment!
Included are a student handout, four wall signs to hang for the movement component, and a teacher guide.
