Thank you for purchasing my product. This method of playing Spanish Bingo is focused on creating listening fluency and language acquisition. Instead of simply using isolated words for Bingo, students will be listening to phrases. It is a fantastic language acquisition tool. If there is a word or two on here that you are not using for your vocabulary, please let me know and I will change the list and definitions accordingly for you.
1. Hand out the clues with the answer blanks and the vocabulary list. Not all of the words from the list will be used. The first part of the activity is great on its own, as students have to read the clues and fill in the blanks with the correct word.
2. Go over the answers. I go over each one, or I save time and put the answers on the projector to ensure that everyone has the correct responses.
3. Make Bingo cards. You can have the students make their own 5 x 5 cards, or you can make them. I provided two boards as examples.
4. Play Bingo. The BEST way to do this is to play in groups of 4 or 5. Have one student be the caller and the other students the players. The caller reads the DEFINITION for the word and his/her group members find it. After a student wins, they can come up to me and read me their answers.
