Fruit in Spanish - Charts / Flash Cards

The main summary chart contains a photo and the name of each of the following fruit: aguacate/palta, albaricoque/damasco, arándano, cereza, ciruela, coco, frambuesa, fresa/frutilla, granada, higo, kiwi, lima, limón, mango, manzana, maracuyá, melocotón/durazno, membrillo, mora/zarzamora, naranja, nectarina, papaya, pera, piña/ananá, plátano/banana, sandía, toronja/pomelo, and uva.

You will notice that we have included regional differences in the names of different fruit. For example under the photo of an apricot, we have el albaricoque and el damasco. We have also included the definite article (el or la) before the name of the fruit so that students start to learn immediately whether that fruit is masculine or feminine.

Each fruit appears on their own individual A4 size chart which can also be used as a large flash card. Each chart/flashcard has a photo of the fruit and its name underneath.

BONUS: For the flash cards, we have included four fruit that do not appear in the summary chart. These are: la grosella negra, el lichi, la mandarina, and el tomate.

Due to regional differences in the name of different fruit, we have included separate charts for fruit that have different names. For example, there is one chart that says el melocotón and another with the same photo but says el durazno. Use what is more appropriate for your region.

NOTE: Both in the chart and the large flash cards, the name of each fruit is in singular form even though there may appear two or more of that fruit in the photo. For example there is a photo of two cherries though the name underneath it is in singular form - la cereza.

These wall charts are perfect for decorating the Spanish classroom. You may also want to laminate each cartoon chart and use them as large flashcards. Some teachers also photocopy these and make a booklet for students.

IMPORTANT: All information on the charts are 100% in Spanish making it ideal for Dual language immersion classes.
