What is the grammar casino about?
The grammar casino is an ideal exercise to review grammar seen in class. It is editable and can be adapted to any level from A1 to C2. This resource should be used with adults only.
How does the grammar casino work?
In this game, students will read sentences that may be correct or incorrect. For each sentence, they must bet points on whether it is a correct sentence or not and explain why. Each student has 140 points to bet from the beginning. If they place the bet correctly, the bet is added to the points they already have; otherwise, the points are subtracted. For example, in the sentence "¡Me encanta esta programa!" the student will only earn points if he bets on INCORRECTO since "programa" is a masculine word.
The exercise can be done individually or in a group class. In the group class, the student with the highest amount of points is the winner.
