One of my favorite days of any unit is stations day – a day when the students get to move around the room to learning centers, differentiate by interest or learning style, work in groups, and get meaningful Spanish practice. It can take a bit of preparation, but once it’s all set up, it becomes a day when the students are actively working and I can get a chance to breathe. Stations are also my go-to plan for substitute teacher lesson plans.
This station mini-bundle includes:
A jigsaw puzzle, which takes about 5 minutes
A circle puzzle, which takes about 10 minutes
A crossword puzzle, which takes about 5 minutes
A rainbow reading, which takes about 20 minutes
A sentence mixer, which takes about 10 minutes
And task cards, which take 5-20 minutes
Each of these activities are available individually and in large topics bundles. If you buy this mini-bundle you also get an instruction sheet to guide students through the stations. I’ve also included an editable version and suggestions for how to switch the instructions if you are leaving these stations as sub plans. I’ve also included answer keys to help you or a substitute. The product preview includes more details and helpful tips. :)
These stations review Spanish hace que phrases with periods of time using both preterite and present tense.
