A new twist on sight word swat. Students can practice Spanish sight words by playing Paint Splat using Spanish high frequency words and different colored paintbrushes as pointers. The "artist" chooses a palette card and calls out the sight word. The first player to "splat" the correct word gets to keep the card. The player with the most cards wins the game.
I have included directions for four ways to play (Splat game, matching, ABC order and writing), but the cards can be used in unlimited ways throughout the school year.
Color and blackline cards are both in the pdf file. There are two recording sheets for accountability.
