This unit presents common clothing items. I teach this after having taught weather and seasons so we can connect the two topics for the fashion show project that is also included in this unit.

A Hear It/Say it activity- explained in the instructions that are in the unit
A partner speaking activity where students color the "cut outs" and "dress" the student outline. They then ask each other if the outline is wearing various articles. The asking student draws the article of clothing on a second blank outline. I have students also give an appropriate weather expression after hearing whether or not the outline is wearing the article of clothing.
The fashion show has students dress up and walk the "runway" of the classroom while a partner explains what the model student is wearing. I add in weather expressions and appropriate activities as well. (Schepeez is wearing a red raincoat because it's raining. He's going shopping today). Rubric is included to evaluate speaking
