This unit presents basic human body vocabulary, the verb TENER and DOLER
I play Simón Dice with this unit and use it on the quiz/test for the listening component (students touch the body part said and hold it while I scan the room to see who has identified it).
There's also a great Sing, Dance and Eat Tacos Song called "Dolor de Cabeza" that works well with this unit.

The Tweety Activity is a pair speaking/listening. The student with the grid of body vocabulary tells the other what body parts hurt Tweety. The student listening draws band-aids on the big Tweety. When finished, the speaking student has the key on his/her page and can check the other's work. They switch roles and repeat the activity. If a pair finishes early, they can make up their own.
I did laminate a big Tweety and some little band-aid cut outs my first year. After that (live and learn), I asked the nurse for some real Band-Aids and let the kids place them (in the package) on the laminated Tweety to minimize the number of pieces to the activity.
