This is a partner project that I use with my Spanish II class when we are working with food vocabulary. In many textbooks this vocabulary is introduced at the same time restaurant vocabulary is used and verbs such as servir, pedir,etc. You will need a microphone for each group in the computer lab for this activity. I suggest 1-2 days in the computer lab depending on the skills and resources of your students.
There are 4 pages of activities:
Page 1-Four parts of project to be used with Photo Story 3 or Power Point. Two parts are for student #1 and two parts are for student #2.
Page 2-PMI-Plus, Minuses, Interesting. This is a chart that the students can fill in before they go to the computer lab. They can ask questions about things and give feedback BEFORE they work in the computer lab.
Page 3-Checklist for students to use to make sure they have included all necessary visuals and speaking portions of the project.
Page 4-Checklist Rubric for project. While students are playing their PhotoStories or Power Points, the teacher should be able to grade them quickly and efficiently using the checklist rubric.
Students love to hear their peers voices on these projects!
