Infinitive Verb Constructions BUNDLE - Questions for Spanish class!
No Prep - just PROJECT! Boom! These interpersonal, progressive QUESTION activities aim to get our Spanish I and II level language students with talking and communicating with personalized questions and sound COMPREHENSIBLE INPUT. Students converse in the target language using the infinitive structures: Ir a; Tener que; Tener ganas de; Pensar + Infinitive; Deber + Infinitive; Soler + Infinitive; Acabar de; Hay que; Antes de; and Después de. It may serve as a culminating activity after practicing several applications of commonly used present tense INFINITIVE Constructions. I will integrate these during the REFLEXIVE VERB unit!

Works well as a "timbre" or warm up activity (asking a few questions every day), or as a "Brain Break!" I will often have my students stand up and engage in the questioning and answering with a partner or with other classmates.
I will print the list of INFINITIVE STRUCTURES, TENER IDIOMS, and PLACES out for students in a BRIGHT, obnoxious color so that they may reference these all year, while in the classroom or at home.

Suggestions for how to use this resource and others like it en la clase de Español:
Partners--Students take turns asking each other the questions and answering in complete sentences. "FAST FINISHERS" can ask the opposite questions.
Whole Class-As time allows, students volunteer or are called on to answer a specific question (in order) asked by the teacher, or any random question he or she is willing to answer, perhaps receiving participation “puntos.”
Teacher asks questions of students, in order or randomly.
Chain Drill-Teacher starts with asking a student (¡voluntario o víctima!) the first question and that student asks the next question and calls on another student.
Writing-Students write their answers to specific questions and share answers with a partner and/or turn in answers to teacher to further guide instruction or to receive feedback.
Oral Pair Share-Students volunteer an answer to a question based on their partner’s answer using the third person. “Carlos tiene 15 años.” “Rosita tiene que trabajar hoy." "Miguel tiene ganas de comer ahora." "Lindsey suele acostarse a las once.." Lucas acaba de venir de la clase de inglés, Sara va a jugar al fútbol hoy.
