Spanish IR Verbs Card Game

A fun and interactive verb review game with a speaking component for small groups. Just print out the cards, cut them out and the deck can be used for over and over.

This game focuses on regular IR verbs in Spanish: abrir, escribir, vivir, subir, decidir, recibir, asistir, discutir, cubrir

Players are dealt 5 cards to begin and place a card face up on the discard pile that is either the same verb (any form) or the same form (Yo, Tú, etc.-any verb) as the top card on the discard pile. When the card is placed down, the player must say a complete sentence in Spanish using the verb form.

There are also special cards that a player can choose to play:
"alto" changes the verb
"saltar" skips the next player
"invertir" changes the direction of play
"+2" requires the next player to pick up 2 cards.

The first player to use all of his/her cards wins the game. A very interactive way for small groups of students to review verb forms and practice speaking in complete sentences. 78 total cards.
