This is a document with 6 different activities for students to practice and learn how -AR, -ER, and -IR verbs work in the imperfect. -AR verbs are mixed up with -ER and -IR verbs to make students really think about which ending to use. An answer key is included. The zip file includes both an editable Word doc and a PDF.
-multiple choice: choose the correct form of the imperfect verb to complete the sentence
-fill in the blank with the correct form of the verb in the imperfect
-correct the errors in sentences with imperfect verbs
-change the present or preterite verb to the imperfect
-write sentences out, stating what people were doing while doing something else
-translate a short paragraph to Spanish, describing what you and your friends used to do
These writing exercises are included in my Spanish Imperfect -AR, -ER, and -IR Verbs Lesson.
