Have students practice the Spanish interrogatives Quién, Qué, Dónde, Cuándo, Por qué, Cómo with this Walk Around; also reviews subject pronouns and present tense verb conjugation of -ER and -AR and SER/ESTAR verbs
A Walk Around is a spin on the standard two column matching activity. This activity gets students up and moving around the classroom.
Students must match the question (the top half of the page) to the most appropriate answer (the bottom half of another page). If a student chooses an incorrect answer, s/he will be brought to a dead end and must retrace steps. When the student finishes, s/he will have solved the pattern of the letters.
This Walk Around also comes with a follow-up activity to use to discuss the correct answers the following day.
Summary of directions: *Complete directions and example modeling activity using colors included with download of activity* Students' goal is to identify the pattern of letters by walking around and reading questions/locating answers about the room. When they find the poster with the best answer, they will record the pattern by recording the letter of each consecutive poster on their answer sheet. When finished locating all posters in order, students will have discovered the pattern.
