Get students out of their seats while practicing their writing skills with this activity! The activity includes pictures of 32 celebrities of all varieties (musicians, actors, politicians, athletes) with their names, birthdays, and hometowns listed below their pictures. Pictures are printed 2 per page, I suggest cutting them apart & laminating for durability.
I like to hang the pictures around the room to get students moving! Students must complete the chart by filling in information (in complete Spanish sentences) about each celebrity. The chart has 4 columns:
1. ¿Cómo se llama él/ella?
2. ¿Cuántos años tiene?
3. ¿De dónde es él/ella?
4. ¿Cuándo es su cumpleaños?
The first column is mostly filled in and only requires a subject pronoun (ex. ELLA se llama Jennifer Aniston) and the other columns are completely blank. Another option for this activity is to number the pictures and have students write the 4 sentences on their own sheet of paper (this would also work if you wanted to use this activity for another language).
Ages are not listed with the pictures so you'll also reinforce math skills, too. I have my students write out the word in Spanish rather than the number.
If you'd like me to make a slight change to the chart, pictures, etc. please ask!
