This activity uses ir a with common Spanish infinitives. Sample verbs are estudiar, escribir, ir, participar, hacer, montar, cantar and jugar. Students will practice 3 forms of ir a + infinitive for asking, responding, and the follow-up written activity.
Each student mingles with a bingo grid and must find different classmates that can reply yes to each of the 16 boxes. The grids contain school related questions such as, "Vas a montar en bici a la escuela?" or "Vas a hacer las tareas en la clase de español?" When a student replies yes to a question, the questioning student follows up by asking in Spanish for the student's signature. When a student fills the entire grid, he shouts, "Bingo!"
Also included is a follow up worksheet that requires students to write a sentence for each of the 16 boxes in the grid. The student includes the name of the student that signed the box and must change the verb to the third person. Students must also write the conjugation for ir a infinitive under 6 images at the bottom of the paper.
This is a great back to school review activity for students with prior Spanish experience.
