This worksheet is perfect for beginning Spanish students to practice emotions, colors and sizes in a fun way for autumn and Halloween. Student will design and color a jack o’lantern in the box, including the facial expression of their choice. Students will then circle the adjectives below that describe their picture.
This makes a fun take-home worksheet to show families, and I’ve also had success using it with students who opt out of jack o’lanterns for religious reasons (we had them color a plain pumpkin and skip the emotion circling). If students don’t know all the colors, underlining the word in the corresponding color before starting on the project is a great reminder.
I’ve made this a Word doc so you can adjust language as needed.
