“Las desventuras de Dino” are a collection of mini-stories written at the Spanish one level. Dino is an elementary-aged boy who has an active imagination that seems to almost always get him into trouble, like a childhood version of a modern-day Don Quijote. The stories use high-frequency vocabulary and structures that are commonly used in Spanish. They are designed for teachers who want to get simple repetitions of these words and phrases, especially for teachers who focus on comprehensible input for their students. The phrases are easy to be read, understood, and retold by students. For teachers, this is a fun tool to use to interact with their students in Spanish. Teachers familiar with TPRS© and comprehensible input methods will enjoy using these mini-stories as an extra resource/practice with their curriculum.
In this episode, Dino has a new classmate, a girl, who he wishes to say hello to. But, Dino being Dino, he can't say hello without his overactive imagination. How does she react when he approaches her?
