ZERO PREP GAME
This game is designed for a Spanish 1 or 2 class studying or reviewing common interests and the verb gustar in Spanish
This is a quick and simple game that gets students competing to identify Spanish vocabulary words. Give each pair or small group one game sheet, and watch them compete to find the correct TACO!
The teacher can give the question word or common question aloud in Spanish, and students race to find the TACO that contains the corresponding TACO on the paper that they share.
With a different color pencil/marker, the student who finds the answer first colors in the taco. At the end of the activity, they evaluate which student identified the most correct tacos.
Students LOVE this quick game because of how competitive it gets! It is a game that allows 100% target language use in a simple and straightforward way.
Differentiation options: speed with which you describe the word, whether you use English or Spanish, whether you allow students to compete or have them work on their own individual papers.
