Hi teachers, parents and guardians,
Teaching colours can be lots of fun with the right materials and a bit of imagination, as you know!
So what can you do with these pages?
You can print them in colour and hang them on the wall.
You can print another set and cut them out so learners can:
Play Bingo by matching the word with the coloured heart.
Match the coloured heart with the masculine version of the colour.
Match the colour with the feminine version of the colour.
Reconstruct the table in the correct order by placing the cards side by side.
Play “who has?”. Each student takes one card with the heart and one with the colour in writing. The students move around asking other students if they have their colours. For example:
I have a purple heart and the word negro.
I walk around asking student. “Quién tiene el morado?” I continue asking different students until I find the person with my card. I then collect their card that matches.
When someone asks for “negro” I hand over my card.
This is part of a whole bundle so have a look at the other pages, too.
