This activity demonstrates someone in a predicament and having a little angel and a little devil on his/her shoulder trying to tell him/her what to do. Have one student be the main character and divide the class into two groups. One group will play the positive voice and the other will play the negative voice. After the main character reads the issue, each group will try to influence the main character with its opinion.
For example: the main character says, “Should I eat an apple every day?” The angel voices say, “Eat an apple every day.” The devil voices say, “Don’t eat an apple every day.”
The group with the loudest or most influencing efforts wins.
