**I have a spanish version of this game and an english version, be sure to choose the one that works best for you!**
Studying for benchmarks no longer has to be a boring task! My students love this review game that covers skip counting, fact families, fractions, capacity and weight.
Instructions: Split your room into as many groups as you want. Grab a bag of foam squares, then pass out the letter cards that come with the powerpoint. Each student gets 4 different colored cards labeled with letters A-D. All students will also need a privacy folder to make the game more challenging. Explain to the students that they need to have their 4 cards laid out in front of them throughout the entire game and once they have chosen an answer for the question, they will hide their card behind their privacy folder. When you display a question, you will give them about a minute to think about their answer, then when you say 1..2...3..GO! Each student will hold up the card that they think is the right answer. Use the foam squares to give points to each team member that held the correct letter card up. Be sure to explain each question for those students that did not understand why their answer was not correct.
Quieter version: Instead of having your students hold up the letter cards, you could pass out dry erase boards and markers to each one and have them write their answer. After giving them adequate time to think about the answer, walk around and pass out a foam square to each student that wrote the right answer on their board.
Trust me, your students will feel as if they are only playing a game, but in reality you can see which students need help with what concept and what your entire class may still need to work on.
