This is a fun and engaging activity for Spanish 3+ students.
In this activity, students use the present subjunctive to talk about what they are looking for in their ideal boyfriend or girlfriend. Students have to explain what they are looking for in eight different categories such as: appearance, pets, movies, what they do on a Friday night, personality, career, and more. My students have gotten really creative with this in the past!
Students are asked to use 7 different "subjunctive phrases" (ex: Yo espero que...) and 7 different verbs in the present subjunctive. An example sentence is provided in addition to a preview of student work. Students then have to opportunity to draw their ideal boyfriend or girlfriend!
This is a great, fun activity that can be used as practice or as an assessment.
An editable rubric is included.
