This communicative Spanish activity gets students talking and LISTENING in the language. It's the game of "I Have, Who Has?" Where students read the cards provided and it triggers a chain reaction.
Example: Yo tengo enero.
¿Quién tiene el mes antes de marzo?
The response would be febrero. So, whichever student has the card that reads " Yo tengo febrero." on the top of their card goes next.
After a few rounds, I have students switch cards and we start timing to try to go faster-- a great way to build up some friendly competition between classes or even within the same class if you print out a few copies!
** highly recommended by not necessary to print onto card stock. If you're printing multiple copies, I also recommend printing each set on different colored paper for simplicity sake!**
