This story will cause your students to put their heads together to figure out. I used this story to preview Senor Wooly's "Amnesia" video/song, but it can be used on its own. This includes a story written at novice high (ideal for late Level 1, Level 2 classes, early Level 3 classes) about a person(s) who wakes up as a different person everytime they fall asleep. They find themselves in mind-boggling situations.
This story is broken into 9 scenes that students will act out in groups. Each scene provides input for the class as the teacher narrates the scene and the group performs.
Next, students will work in groups to put the scenes in order. But some information from the story has been redacted (blacked out), creating a little mystery for the students.
Once the students have put the story in correct sequence, there is a un-redacted story to read together as a class.
Includes an editable Microsoft Word File and a PDF version.
