Name bingo is a great way to stay in the target language and enhance student engagement on the first day of class. After teaching how to ask and tell names in Spanish, students will ask and tell their classmates their names and fill out the spaces on this sheet. When finished, students should write their names on the bottom of the paper, tear it off and give it to their teacher to begin the bingo game. The teacher will then teach the class how to say "his or her name is" in Spanish. The winner is the first student to get four in a row and say ¡Olé! The student must then say the names back in complete Spanish sentences.
