Teach the uses of Spanish preterit and imperfect verb tenses in a clear, concise way with these guided notes. The listing includes a 4 page word document (which you can edit!): 2 pages of guided notes and 2 pages of practice sheets. I have used these notes with Spanish 1 (honors), Spanish 2, and Spanish 3, it can work for all levels, because YOU select the level of sentence examples that students use for the notes.
The 2 pages of guided notes list the uses of preterit as compared to imperfect and provide space for students to write Spanish language examples of each use. Most of the uses have graphics with them to facilitate students’ understanding and retention of the concepts.
The 2 pages of practice sheets that follow allow students to practice after taking notes. Great homework assignment! The 2 sheets contain 25 Spanish language sentences which students are asked to analyze to identify preterit and imperfect verbs, and to justify their use in each sentence. These practice sheets are a great way to practice of this concept for beginners, without being too overwhelming at the start!
Suerte con todo! Please leave your feedback, I appreciate it!
