Product Description
Let students see noun/adjective agreement in a context they hear often... describing TV characters! This activity has 6 family descriptions in a Powerpoint presentation - 1 each for Modern Family, Speechles, Jane the Virgin, Chrisley Knows Best, The Brady Bunch, and The Simpsons. If a student doesn't know one or any of the shows, that's totally ok!

The descriptions each have 10 noun/adjective descriptions in present tense. The students get a sheet to mark whether each one is singular or plural, masculine or feminine, and the definition. Then they guess which TV family it is.

You could project each passage and use it as a warm up activity several days in a row. Or you could do them all in one day as a group reading activity. Or you could post them around the room and make it a stations activity - there are lots of options! This is a great comprehensible input reading activity, and it also includes a writing prompt for students to write their own description at the end!

Answer keys included. :) It is also editable. So if you want to switch the verb tenses for advanced classes or swap in different shows, you can do that!

This product is also available as part of my Noun Adjective Agreement Bundle.

These activities primarily focus on the ACTFL language comparison and interpretive communication standards.

Going paperless? This is intended to be projected as a PPT. You can use the PDF documents in the Notability app for students to add their writing or even have them submit their answers to you electronically.
