A jigsaw puzzle where students match clues to create an 8.5 x 11 puzzle! Includes instructions on possible ways to use and extend this activity in class. This is a quick activity that is fun, can serve as a station option, and leads to great partner work and collaborative learning.
This activity reviews Spanish noun adjective agreement. It is intended for Spanish 1 and uses very simple present tense. I tried to stick to very simple vocabulary describing people – hombre, mujer, amigos, chicas, alto, baja, simpáticos, etc.
Jigsaw puzzles take a little bit of prep - I cut apart all the pieces and put each set in a snack-sized Ziplock bag. But once that's done, you can keep them to use for each class for years to come.
