Usually the past participles used as adjectives are glossed over in the textbooks pretty quickly because it's a fairly easy part of grammar... or is it??? My students always struggled with knowing when to change the endings because, of course, they had also learned the present perfect. If this describes your students too, then this is the bundle for you! This PowerPoint shows how the past participles function as adjectives while it also reviews the present perfect. I have found that when my students can practice these side be side that they have a greater understanding of when the participles need to change. For this reason, this bundle not only includes practice for just the participles used as adjectives, but also practice using both participles used as adjectives and the present perfect. Worksheets are included that follow along with the PowerPoint. Simply print, copy, distribute and you're ready to teach! Students practice along with the PowerPoint and can instantly check their understanding as you progress. Also provided are printed notes that you can give to the students to use with the practices or to keep for future reference. As a bonus I am also sharing with you my 'secret weapon' for learning the irregular past participles, which is a song that I have used for the last 15 year that all of my students LOVE!
This bundle includes:
