In order to review the tricky, irregular, Spanish past tense, I’ve created some classroom review stations. In this packet, you’ll find 18 pages of editable, Word documents. There are 5-6 stations with ready-to print activities.
I arranged the student desks into 6 groups, and divided the students as equally as I could among the "review pods." I had them rotate to a different practice station every 8 minutes or so.
-1 station with a past-tense verb puzzle (Key included, will need to be printed and cut-out prior to activity)
-1 conjugation timing activity (internet with computer or iPad needed)
-1 small group Q&A activity with verb charts! Key included, paper or small dry-erase boards needed.
-1 “study hall” station (this could be changed up, but it’s what we had ready to go in reviewing for whole-school finals).
-TWO stations with different questions and past tense verbs. Students could either translate sentences OR simply write the indicated verbs in the past tense. Key included, paper or small dry-erase boards needed.
