This is a perfect tense packet (mostly present perfect) that is a great way to introduce and get some authentic practice with the perfect tense. This is not a unit lesson guide, just different activities that can be used to help in the teaching, understanding, and assessment of the perfect tense. The packet includes:
A research page (upper level students can begin by researching on their own and creating their own notes pages!)
A notes page that students can follow and fill in while you teach the grammar.
Translation practice pages that can be used for bell ringers, worksheets, with white boards, etc.
Past tense questions that students can switch to the perfect tense.
A pre-test study guide.
Two different assessments for the perfect tense. (One is more upper level with irregular participles, making verbs into adjectives using participles, past and future perfect, and probability using the future perfect.
