This is a game for practicing physical characteristics in Spanish. There are five game boards with varying levels of difficulty. Each game board has at least eighteen people with different physical characteristics. To play, students divide into groups of two (although you may also play in groups of three if you have an uneven number of students). Each player picks a person from the game board. Their opponent tries to guess which person they picked by asking questions about the person's physical characteristics. I always have my students phrase the questions in the tú form and the responses in the yo form to practice asking and answering questions:
Player 1: ¿Tienes el pelo rubio?
Player 2: No, no tengo el pelo rubio.
Player 1: ¿Eres pelirrojo?
Player 2: Sí, soy pelirrojo.
Player 1: ¿Llevas gafas?
Player 2: Sí, llevo gafas.
Player 1: ¿Eres Javier?
Player 2: Sí, soy Javier.
Players take turns asking questions. Whoever guesses their opponent's person first wins.
This bundle includes five different game boards. Each game board comes with a full vocabulary list.
IMPORTANT: Do not purchase this game set unless you have access to a color printer. The game cards must be printed in color.
I recommend laminating the game sheets or putting them in protective plastic sleeves so you can use them again and again. This also makes it easier to play. In my classes, students write on the laminated game sheets with whiteboard marker.
