This is a Memory game that has students match a common food to the part of the plant it comes from (for example, an apple is a fruit, but corn is a seed). It’s a great way to get students using their vocabulary while reinforcing some basic science for cross-curricular fun.
In addition to using this as a Memory Game, you could also use the cards to play Go Fish to get sets of foods/plant parts. I’ve also had success with handing each students a card to keep secret and having them search the room for their partner by asking "¿Quién eres?" or something similar.
To have several groups play at once, you’ll need to print out a few copies of the game — I think groups of four students works best. Print them on card stock and/or laminate them for longevity.
