Rotating interviews are a great way to get kids moving, mixing, and speaking in Spanish! Students are given 12 pointed questions and rotate through 12 partners, asking questions, responding, and recording what they find in the third person.
I designed these activities to help students understand and practice interrogative structures. The questions are intentionally split - some open-ended questions that use question words and some yes-or-no questions that just use verbs and subjects so students get practice with both structures.
This file includes instructions with two options for how to play and a possible cultural lesson to add in. It includes both PDF and DOC versions, so you can edit the questions if you want to incorporate unit-specific vocabulary.
No prep - just print and go for 15 minutes of conversation in the target language!
If you like this idea – speed dating in the target language - this is also available as part of my Rotating Interviews Bundle
This activity focuses on Spanish possessive adjectives. I kept the vocabulary simple - primarily family and school supplies.
