Spanish Present Subjunctive Tense Project: Uses of WEIRDO
This presentational project for a Spanish 2 or 3 class aligns with Exprésate 3 Chapter 1 grammar. The goal is to review the present subjunctive tense in a fun and memorable way, while utilizing classroom technology.
Students first review the steps of conjugating the subjunctive tense, as well as the different parts of WEIRDO as well as irregular verbs.
Students then use any presentation app on their iPads to create a book to teach/review the uses of the present subjunctive tense.
This presentation can be done on iPad Apps / other technology such as Pic Collage, Keynote, or Google Slides. Students could also create their project on paper with creative drawings or photos cut out from magazines or online.
This includes: Practice packet, Project Directions, simple grading rubric out of 45 points, and a teacher example project are included!
This should take about 2 full class periods, or could be assigned as an out of class project.
