This product includes 36 unique task cards
for practicing using the present subjunctive vs. indicative
within a complete sentence. It is recommended that you print and laminate these task cards to preserve them for many years! They are made in color, but can be printed in grayscale.
Each task card contains an "indicator phrase" (ex: Esperar que) and a verb in its infinitive form.
For example, a card may say "Es bueno que/tener."
Students would need to write a complete sentence using that phrase and the present subjunctive form of tener (ex: "Es bueno que tengamos vacaciones esta semana").
An example indicative phrase could be "Es cierto que."
A worksheet is included where students write the complete sentences. Examples are included. An answer sheet is included that indicates the use of the subjunctive or indicative.
This is great practice for figuring out when to use the present subjunctive or indicative!
