This is a zip file with a powerpoint and a document for students to take notes. The powerpoint teaches what the preterite means, how the yo, tú, él/ella, nosotros, and ellos/ellas verbs are formed, what common time phrases are that indicate the preterite, and then students practice filling in blanks in sentences and translate sentences from English to Spanish. The powerpoint includes animation. The notes page has blanks in it where students have to fill in words from the powerpoint and lines for them to practice conjugating verbs and translating. They can refer back to their Notes later in the class period or a few days later to study!
The powerpoint is saved as both .ppt and .pptx. The notes page is saved as both an editable Word doc and a PDF.
This Powerpoint & Notes is included in my Spanish Preterite -AR Verbs Lesson
