Spanish Preterite Tense Games TACO TUESDAY
This is a bundle of TWO game boards
**Now with virtual option included via Google Drive TM**
1) Preterite tense of AR verbs only
2) Preterite tense of regular verbs (-AR, -ER, -IR)
This is a quick and simple game that gets students competing to identify vocabulary words or verb conjugations.
The teacher can describe vocabulary words in either English or Spanish, and students race to find the TACO that contains the correct word on the paper that they share.
With a different color pencil/marker, the student who finds the word first colors in the taco. At the end of the activity, they evaluate which student identified the most words.
Students LOVE this quick game because of how competitive it gets! It is a game that allows 100% target language use in a simple and straightforward way.
Differentiation options: speed with which you describe the word, whether you use English or Spanish, whether you allow students to compete or have them work on their own individual papers.
