Spice up your Spanish clothing unit... descriptive adjective unit... ser vs estar lessons... imperfect past tense unit... etc. with these funny old school photos from school dances. This listing includes pdf and powerpoint versions of the product, including detailed instructions for four different activities and 25 full size school appropriate prom / homecoming photos. Great for any level Spanish student!
For my favorite activity, I print out two copies of the photo slides and put them in plastic sleeves before distributing them to my students. This is a partner activity in which one partner describes a picture in Spanish while the other partner attempts to draw what they hear described. The pairs will draw and describe a single image for about 5 minutes, then compare the actual picture to the drawing, and then switch roles with a new image.
There are so many possibilities with these engaging photos. Your students will be speaking Spanish (and likely laughing at those pictures!) the whole time.
¡Suerte con todo! ~Catharyn
