Start your day by asking your new Spanish readers to answer a daily question. Question of the Day (or "Pregunta del día") for Beginning Readers allows your class to “check in” each day by sharing their response to a fun question. This set of questions allows students to share their response by placing their name card (not included) under their response on the pocket chart. (The response cards are 3.5 X 3.5 inches.)
Not only do you get to know your students through this activity, but they also get to practice their blossoming reading skills. The 100 Spanish questions in this set contain pictures cues and use many patterned questions, encouraging beginning readers to read the questions independently.
The 100 questions in this set include questions that can used throughout the year, including the following themes:
The information gathered from these questions can later be used during math to create graphs and to compare responses. This is a great way to make graphing meaningful to students!
