There are two speaking activities in which student practice asking and answering questions in Spanish. They use the inverted structure for yes/ no questions and interrogative question words to ask for information. They practice listening, speaking and writing Spanish questions.
This product includes the following resources:
~Paired activity in which students ask their partners questions and record their answers. Students must invert the subject and the verb for the question and place the subject before the verb when they answer. For example: ¿Canta bien Beyonce? Sí, (ella) canta bien.
~Group activity in which students ask questions of different students in the class. They use the interrogative words, “¿Cómo, cuál, quién, quiénes, cuándo, dónde, qué, and por qué?” and also, “¿Quieres..?” in order to help them distinguish between, “¿Quiénes?” and, “¿Quieres?”. In this activity they ask the question and record the answer in the third person. For example, “¿Cómo es tu mejor amigo?” Mi mejor amigo es cómico. Su mejor amigo es cómico.
