Product Description
This reading focuses on US and Latino Stereotypes. It has students examine stereotypes in the US and then examine stereotypes of Latinos held in the US, using online articles. Students are then asked to reflect about stereotypes they hold about others, the origin of these stereotypes and are asked to consider how to combat stereotypes. This reading asks students to define key words they will aid in their comprehension of the articles, summarize what they've read, reflect on their own perspectives and asks what they can do to change (mis)conceptions if necessary.
